Haniel is often invited to universities. We use job fairs, information days and round table discussions as a platform to introduce ourselves and start conversations with the graduates of tomorrow – about admission requirements, careers and career prospects. For example we present ourselves at the careers fair in Germany hosted by SIFE, the world's largest international student organisation. Moreover, we organise some recruiting events in Germany and China.
Haniel Innovation Day
At the end of January 2010 Haniel held a creative workshop with the METRO Group at which pupils, students and trainees developed visions for the recruitment of tomorrow together with HR managers – the Haniel Innovation Day series of events had been launched. The next workshop took place on 18 March 2011. This time the topic was the trainee programme of the future.
